Sveza combines employee well-being with community development
Sveza Group has been named one of the twelve leading companies in a social investment effectiveness assessment conducted by the Green Brands League, based on the companies’ performance in 2024. The study evaluates corporate social responsibility maturity and highlights key trends in managing social agendas.

The social ranking complements the League’s portfolio of independent sustainability assessments, with a focus on social risk management, employee relations, community engagement, and the integration of social aspects into business operations.
The report identifies two consistent strategic approaches in the market: some companies focus on internal development — such as enhancing corporate culture and employee well-being — while others prioritize external engagement through partnerships with regional governments, NPOs, and local initiatives. The leading companies are those that successfully combine both strategies.
Encompassing both internal and external dimensions, Sveza’s comprehensive approach to social responsibility is embedded in the company’s sustainability strategy and implemented through capacity modernization programs, improvements to the work environment, and direct support for local communities.
A cornerstone of these efforts is the “Sveza Near” program — a platform for local social projects. It includes urban improvement efforts, development of social infrastructure, and employee participation in community-focused initiatives.

“A holistic approach is the foundation of Sveza’s social policy — linking employee interests, operational efficiency, and community development. This approach helps us develop a long-tern accountability framework aimed at driving meaningful change both within the company and in the broader community, says Valentina Likhacheva, Director for Corporate Communications and Sustainable Development at Sveza. “By integrating social responsibility into our business model, we strengthen ties with local communities, make employee engagement part of our sustainable practices, and ensure our policies meet the challenges of today.”
